Wednesday's Work in Progress 3/17

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope you are all wearing green or I'll pinch you virtually! :) St. Patrick's Day is a fun holiday - nothing serious and nobody expects gifts. So I like it!

I started Wednesday's wips (Work in Progress) a few weeks ago and then I skipped a few weeks. So I'm back today with a work in progress for you!

The shawl I shared a few weeks ago has been frogged(ripped out, aka rip-it, rip-it). I was having trouble with the lace and decided that I would try an easier lace project first. The shawl will be a future project I'm sure, it's really pretty.

I am doing a Knit-a-long with a Ravelry group for Stricken Smitten yarns. I'm making Linda K's Yummy Mummy Wrist-warmers in a beautiful emerald green fingering weight yarn. It's a deceptively simple pattern and the yarn is just amazing to work with!

I've got 16 rows complete. Not too far yet but I will have more time to work on them next month.

Have a great Wednesday!

Thanks for stopping by my blog..

Your work is so pretty! My mother is a big knitter - well, she was, til she discovered quilting in her 60s. She still knits stuff for my kids. I unfortunately didn't inherit those genes!
